The foremost artisanal fishing harbour in France and a popular working-class town in Southern Brittany, le Guilvinec is celebrated for its local culture and attractions.
Fishing boats returning to harbor
Every day around 5 pm, the fishing boats carrying their catch of the day return to the Guilvinec harbor. The parade of colorful boats is not to be missed.

Every summer, the commune of Guilvinec hosts the Festival photographique international and its 300+ photographs taken around the world of fishermen and women. The facades of the town and outdoor areas become an open-air exhibit of stunning photography.
The Etocs islets
Visible from the coast, the Etocs islets can be reached by boat or kayak to get up-close to sea lions basking on the rocks.
Stroll around the tip of Men Meur
The Men Meur point separates the two beaches of Guilvinec and its rocky coast can be explored on foot in low tide.
